ICR Solutions will conduct a comprehensive audit and review of clients existing OHS systems and framework, to determine if they are adhering to legislative requirements. Further to this, an audit will evaluate the efficiency of the current system and identify any shortfalls and/or areas of concern. Advice will be given on the latest methods and systems available to clients, allowing for the efficient management of OHS systems.

Establishing and management of OHS systems

In instances where a client has not yet implemented a working OHS system, ICR Solutions will undertake the task of designing a system suited to the client’s needs and requirements. It should be noted that the structuring and design of an OHS system, is largely dependant on the nature and scope of an operation, therefore all of our systems are tailor-made to the needs of that particular project.

Once a system has been designed and created, ICR Solutions will implement the system into the running of the clients business. Training and familiarisation will be provided to staff who will be involved in the operating of the system. Should the nature of the system or the scope of the clients operation require on-going advice, monitoring and/or management by ICR Solutions, a management agreement can be established thereby allowing for continued specialist assistance in this regard.

Development of Written Safe Working Procedures

As required by legislation, ICR Solutions will assist clients in formulating and creating Written Safe Working Procedures (WSWP’s). WSWP’s are documents detailing the safe way in which to conduct certain tasks, thereby managing and largely mitigating risks associated with the aforementioned task.

Identifying and provision of Required Training

Through an auditing process, ICR Solutions will identify a client’s short-falls in terms of training of staff, as required by legislation and best practice standards. In addition to this, we offer solutions for a broad spectrum of training requirements.

Auditing of Contractor Compliance

In order for a business to achieve and maintain compliance in regards to OHS legislation, it is imperative that contractors conducting work on behalf of the client are also compliant in all aspects of safety. The responsibility ultimately falls with the client to ensure that all contracted work is conducted in a manner which is in accordance with legislation. ICR Solutions will undertake an audit on contractors to ensure that they are compliant in these regards, thereby freeing the client of any legal repercussions.

Develop Health and Safety File (SHE File)

So as to achieve and maintain compliance in regards to OHS legislation and the Contractors Regulations 2014 ICR Solutions can develop and manage your Health and Safety File for contractors in line with legislative compliance requirements (OHS Act (ACT 85 of 1993) and Contractors Regulations 2014 – R37305

Develop Health and Safety Plan

ICR Solutions can develop and manage your Health and Safety Plan for contractors in as required legislation (OHS Act (ACT 85 of 1993) and Contractors Regulations 2014. The Health and Safety Plan includes your Health and Safety Policy, legislative agreements etc.

Safety Risk Assessments

As required in the development of project Occupational Health and Safety systems, ICR Solutions will conduct risk assessments on behalf of the client prior to commencement of projects to compile a Safety Specification as is required by the Construction Regulations.

It is also necessary for the client to conduct risk assessments at different intervals of a development, as working conditions and circumstances constantly change as the project progresses.

In addition the client is required to undertake regular audits to ensure contractor compliance with the provided safety specifications. ICR Solutions is able to undertake these intermittent assessments on behalf of the client, thereby ensuring ongoing compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Thermal Imaging Risk Assessments

ICR Solutions offers Heat Signature and Thermal Imaging Assessments of installations. This specialised assessment identifies “Hot Spots” within any operation, from electrical installations to mechanical installations.

By using the latest technology available ICR Solutions are able to identify potential heat caused hazards, mechanical overheat points and potential mechanical breakdown points that result from abnormal heat stress. This system is largely beneficial in determining probable origins and sources for fires.

Emergency Planning and Evacuation Consulting

Incident Debriefing

ICR Solutions offers Incident Debriefing Services, in which all relevant service providers that attended an incident can meet in a neutral environment under the guidance of an independent facilitator to analyse an incident, evaluate service provider response and coordinate suggestions and recommendations of the role players to improve future response and inter service cooperation.

Compilation of an Event Safety Plan

An event safety plan is a made up of a number of parts, with the emergency / disaster response plan been only one component of the plan.

The plan also includes pre- and post- event requirements from the various authorities, licensing and legislative requirements and safety management plan.

Event Safety Management

Event safety management is a multi-disciplinary function and should include the ongoing assessment of an event environment to ensure the safety of event patrons and staff.

Working together with the security manager and event manager / coordinator the Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring set-up safety, compliance with the Event Safety Plan, and break-down safety following an event.
